The universe, reality, are strange, awesome, mysterious. Compared to what? Why are we "mystified"? What does it mean to be "mystified"? Why do you wonder?
The wonder and mystery we perceive are our sensations of God's presence. We are told that the universe is filled by Christ and that He upholds or sustains it. Therefore, truly, there is no separation from God, other than in OUR MINDS! We are asked to repent, "metanoia", or "think-again" of this. This wonder and mystery is not some kind of New Age mysticism but a real appreciation of the close presence of the loving God. Wonderful!
