I'm thinking it's about 20 years ago. We were visiting our son Dave
and his family in Maryland. They had a couple of signs posted here
and there for the children (?) saying, "No Whining!". While we were
there I got word one of my best friends had just died. It struck me
enough that I went into the bathroom and wept. I wouldn't tell you
that except for the sake of the story. While I was there, our first
grandchild, Jim, around 3 or 4 years old, heard me. He looked in and
said, "No whining,Grandpa!" That was one of the funniest things I can
ever remember. My weeping turned into an outburst of laughter! In the
Revelation of St.John, we read about God wiping away all the tears of
their eyes! Need I say more?
