Remember, god-like and godly are not necessarily the same thing.
However, having said that, it's important not to trivialize the
creation; God loves it. In fact we were not made as an afterthought.
We are central to God's heart and will. We are the creatures who
are so god-like as to have some sense of what we don't know. We are
god-like enough that to us everything is a mystery. We realize we
can't really know anything- in its fulness- until, like God, we know
everything. But we know THAT!! Reality is, for us, open-ended, and
endless. The Mormons- with their concept of god- couldn't have a clue
what we understand. Nor could Islam. The kind of God you have makes
all the difference!
